Road trip to Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand!

About a 5 hour drive including breaks, Prachuap is quite a lovely place to visit. It is not much visited by Western tourists being between the more famouse Huahin and Phuket. Still, lovely beaches lined with palm trees. Western food a bit harder to find but lots of standard Thai fare at cheap prices.

There is a hill in the center of Prachuap city with alot of wild monkeys who will jump on you for food. It was a little intimidating to be surrounded by monkeys.

Quite windy also there but the air was fresh and hotel was quite cheap. For about 600 baht ($20 USD) we got nice rooms with ocean view.
